KPMG believes it's important to play an active role in supporting the communities where we live and work. Our contributions of both time and money continue through various local office initiatives. Through the KPMG Involve Program and KPMG Community Matters, our people continue to make a difference around the world through office and firm sponsored events. The KPMG Disaster Relief Fund and the KPMG Foundation, two 501(c)(3) organizations, were created as a means to help provide financial support toward disaster relief efforts and the academic community.

Involve is KPMG's national community involvement program. Its mission is to enable us to live out our value: "we are committed to our communities" by building a culture of corporate citizenship and opportunities, time, and resources for our people to make a real and positive impact on our communities through service. In addition to our strategic national affiliations and firmwide events, KPMG's local offices across the U.S. initiate and conduct their own events through the Involve program.

Matching gift program
KPMG Foundation's Matching Gift Program was established to enhance the quality of higher education. Through this program the Foundation matches donations to alma maters or to any college or university at which KPMG recruits. Donors can direct that these contributions, with the match, be restricted to a specific program or unrestricted for general use.
KPMG Disaster Relief Fund
The purpose of the KPMG Disaster Relief Fund (DRF) is to provide a vehicle for our people to assist employees who have an immediate financial need and/or permanent financial loss resulting from a natural disaster. The DRF also may distribute funds in support of other Section 501(c)(3) organizations. Generally, any such contributions to a public charity will be in response to a need caused by a natural disaster.
