  • FORTUNE 100 Best Companies to Work For ® (2012)

    FORTUNE 100 Best Companies to Work For® — The list is put together by the Great Place to Work Institute in San Francisco, California, which surveyed a random sample of partners and employees. Each company was also asked to fill out a questionnaire describing its human resources policies and workplace culture. Two-thirds of each company's score came from partner and employee responses, and the other third was based on the company's benefits and practices.

    KPMG Named 2012 Straight For Equality in the Workplace Award Winner — PFLAG National has named KPMG LLP, the U.S. audit, tax and advisory services firm, the 2012 Straight for Equality in the Workplace honoree. Straight for Equality — a national outreach and education project created by PFLAG National — invites, educates and engages straight allies to advocate for and support gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) people.

    KPMG Named Sustainable Firm of the Year — According to IAB Editor Avind Hickman, KPMG demonstrated with hard data the impact of corporate responsibility initiatives across its network. "The firm also demonstrated thought leadership by hosting the high-profile global business sustainability summit, Business Perspectives on Sustainable Growth, which underscored KPMG’s already very strong reputation in sustainability services."

    Universum's Top 100 IDEAL™ Employers — KPMG was again named as one of Universum's Top 100 IDEAL™ Employers among MBAs. The ranking was compiled using survey responses from MBA students at top institutions and is based on their perception of employers in the U.S.

  • Computerworld's 2011 Top Green-IT Users

    For the second time in three years, KPMG has made Computerworld's annual list of the Top Green-IT organizations. This year, the firm came in at No. 2 on the list, topping our 2009 ranking of No. 7. KPMG is also the only Big Four firm on this year's list.

    KPMG Reaches Top 3 on Innovation in Diversity Awards — The only Big Four firm to be named in the Top Ten list, KPMG was cited for its efforts on behalf of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) community, specifically our Straight Allies campaign.

  • Working Mother’s Best Companies for Women’s Advancement

    Working Mother's Best Companies for Women's Advancement — KPMG was recently named by Working Mother magazine as one of 10 organizations on its 2011 Best Companies for Women's Advancement list. This new ranking, an offshoot of the magazine's annual 100 Best Companies for Working Mothers, was created to highlight what companies are doing to encourage the advancement of women at all levels.

  • NAFE Top 50 Companies

    NAFE Top 50 Companies — For the second year in a row, the National Association for Female Executives (NAFE) has named KPMG to the NAFE Top 50 Companies, which recognizes organizations whose policies and practices encourage women's advancement and whose numbers at the highest levels of leadership demonstrate that commitment.

    Universum — For the second year in a row, KPMG International took the No. 2 spot on Universum's 2011 ranking of "The World's Most Attractive Employers" beating all other Big 4 firms. Universum, a global employer branding company, compiled the index based on the opinions of nearly 83,000 business students from top academic institutions in the world's 12 leading economies - the United States, China, Japan, Germany, France, UK, Italy, Brazil, Spain, Canada, Russia and India. The global top 50 companies were ranked based on the frequency of being selected as an "ideal employer" by the students.

    Training Magazine's Top 10 Hall of Fame — KPMG was inducted into the Training Magazine Top 10 Hall of Fame in recognition of our firm's consistently innovative and effective training programs. The Top 10 Hall of Fame is a special honor granted to organizations, like KPMG, that have earned a spot on Training's Top 125 Top 10 list for four consecutive years. The Training Top 125 is recognized by the learning and development community as the most prestigious honor of its kind, and making the Top 10 Hall of Fame underscores our steadfast commitment to support the development of our people and provide them with the skills and knowledge they need to pursue their career goals.

    Companies That Care Honor Roll 2012 — For the ninth consecutive year, the firm was named to the Companies that Care Honor Roll, a national list recognizing employers for outstanding workplace practices and active community involvement. We were honored for our programs that support our partners, employees, and communities. Of special note was KPMG's Family for Literacy, which has provided nearly 2 million books to children in North America, India, and Africa since its launch in 2007.

    Business Week magazine "50 Best Places to Launch a Career" — KPMG was ranked #5 on the list for our strong on-campus recruiting, competitive benefits, extensive training, and collaborative culture. In particular, the magazine cited our "allotment of 25 paid days off for entry level professionals," calling it "one of the most generous of all the companies in the ranking."

    DiversityInc Top 50 Companies for Diversity — KPMG was named to DiversityInc's Top 50 Companies for Diversity for the fifth consecutive year in 2012, ranking No. 22. The firm also made two of DiversityInc's specialty lists this year: We are ranked No. 8 among the Top 10 Companies for People with Disabilities, and No. 3 among the Top 10 Companies for LGBT Employees. Considered one of the leading publications on diversity, DiversityInc established its Top 50 list to recognize companies that "demonstrate remarkable and consistent strength in the four critical areas of diversity management."
