RSS help

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an easy way to keep up with the latest news and features from KPMG.

What is RSS?

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication.

RSS feeds provide a fast and effective way of seeing when Web sites have added new content. These feeds are automatically updated whenever new content is added to a site.

When you subscribe to an RSS feed you will get the latest headlines, summaries and links in one place, as soon as they are published. This means you don't have to constantly revisit your favourite Web sites to learn what's new.

How do I use RSS feeds?

You will need a news reader to check the feeds you subscribe to and let you view headlines and links to newly published content. See below for details of how to get a reader if you don't currently have one.

KPMG RSS feeds are indicated by orange icons like those shown next to the list of feeds on the right. After clicking a link, you can subscribe to feeds in various ways - including dragging the URL of the feed into your news reader or cutting and pasting the feed URL into a new feed in your news reader.

Some browsers including Internet Explorer 7+, Firefox, Opera and Safari, automatically support RSS and do not require you to paste the feed URL into a separate reader.

If you have difficulties subscribing to a feed, please refer to the instructions that come with your reader.

When new content is published, you can use the reader to scan headlines and click through to our Web site to view the full version of the article or feature.

How do I get a news reader?

There are many different versions of readers, some accessed using a browser, and some which are downloadable applications.

Deciding which one to use is a matter of personal choice. Different readers work on different operating systems, so you will need to choose one that will work with your computer.

On the right is a list of different readers that have been tested with our own feeds. Other readers may also be compatible.

How do I unsubscribe from an RSS feed?

Please refer to the instructions that come with your browser or news reader if you would like to unsubscribe from an RSS feed.
