Summer leadership programs

Each summer, KPMG offers opportunities for students to develop their leadership skills and gain new perspective on public accounting through one of our summer leadership programs. These unique programs, offered at both the national and local levels, allow students to:

  • explore career opportunities with KPMG,
  • network with other student leaders and KPMG professionals; and
  • get a head start on the campus recruiting process.

Discover KPMG

Many KPMG offices host Discover KPMG, a local leadership program that gives students a first-hand look at a career in audit, tax, or advisory services. Participants will work closely with local office leadership, professionals, and recruiters. Activities may range from technical case studies, leadership development exercises, community service, and exposure to client engagement situations. The timing of the Discover KPMG program will vary from office to office.

Fast Forward National Leadership Program

This highly interactive training program will provide you with tools to help enhance your existing leadership skills while you meet and network with other student leaders from across the country. One key component of this program is taking leadership theory and framing it with a real-world perspective. Participants will hear from KPMG national leaders on how leadership skills have played a role in their careers.

Both highly selective programs are designed to give students an inside look at career opportunities in audit, tax, or advisory services while building key skills that will be beneficial in all aspects of your lives. Students eligible for the program should have two years remaining in their education and be interested in pursuing a career in public accounting.

To apply, contact your local campus recruiter or closest KPMG office.
