What is the Build Your Own Internship Program?
The Build Your Own Internship Program allows students to intern with KPMG in two practices (Audit, Tax, or Advisory) instead of one. To build their internship, students will select one "Core Practice" and one "Developmental Practice", allowing them to spend time in both throughout their internship. Within their Developmental Practice, interns will work on a variety of client engagements in order to gain a thorough experience. Participants will be assigned a performance manager who will assist in goal setting, give regular feedback, and ultimately help the intern decide which practice to pursue a career. Each intern is paired with a mentor at the start of their program to offer guidance and answer day-to-day questions.
Why offer the Build Your Own Internship Program?

The Build Your Own Internship Program enables interns to explore their options while being exposed to multiple practices early in their career. In addition to real-life experience, the Build Your Own Internship Program offers unbelievable networking opportunities among peers, clients, and firm leadership.
How do I apply for the Build Your Own Internship Program?
